
The task
GetInsured is a leading provider of health insurance marketplace technology for state governments. The company powers the state-based health insurance exchanges of California, Minnesota, Idaho, Washington State, Nevada, Pennsylvania and New Jersey – so that residents of those states can sign up for healthcare coverage. Luna Public Relations was tasked with making a name for the company in public sector healthcare, developing a thought leadership platform to elevate the CEO, and creating local interest in state-based health insurance exchanges – all while carefully toeing the line to appeal to traditional “red” states, “blue” states and “purple” states.
The results
Created a thought leadership plan for GetInsured CEO that centered around the benefits of state-based exchanges for various constituencies nationwide
Partnered and launched PR campaigns alongside state clients to garner press coverage in local markets
Conducted the first-ever Resident Medical Debt Survey in Minnesota, Nevada and Pennsylvania to assess how residents are dealing with medical debt and the COVID-19 pandemic
